About Kings Cross

Kings Cross is a ten-man Alliance (previously Horde) guild currently residing on the EU-PvE server Frostmane, which was created on the 29th of August, 2008. It was formed by a group of old college friends with the intention to clear end-game content in Wrath Of The Lich King without jeporadising the overall enjoyment of the game through a closely-knit, high level of camaraderie. With this group, they were also able to by sheer chance come across another pair of exceptional players, who were recruited to much satisfaction of the remainder of the guild; the members of the guild themselves having Burning Crusade raiding experience up to and including Black Temple.

The ten-man raiding option introduced in Wrath of The Lich King allowed for a higher standard of playing ability which varied from a twenty-five man raiding environment. Since the creation of the guild Kings Cross, success in raids has been astronomical, with all WotLK release content completed to a ten-man standard on the 4th December, 2008. Noteable achievements from the guild also include Sartharion with Three Drakes still up on Normal Difficulty.

For a brief amount of time in their history, Kings Cross experimented with twenty-five-man raiding, however this is did not bring the same close-knit playing experience that previous ten-man raids could give. With this, a transfer back to Frostmane where some members originated from was conducted; where they are now making excellent progress (GotUr cleared) through the latest raiding instance - Ulduar.

Kings Cross operate all of their raids using Ventrilo in order to communicate and have an active forum used for applications, tactics and general discussion. The Kings Cross website which you are currently viewing this information on is currently being updated and expanded.

The members themselves are extremely active in-game as well as on Ventrilo and have a relaxed but determined raiding atmosphere.
